En 1969, seis muchachotes bien cepados (5 ingleses y un americano que no sabía donde se metía), y encima universitarios, formaron un grupo cómico porque alguién les dijo que así se ligaba mucho con tias buenas. Después de comprobar que no y de pegarle una paliza a ese alguien por tamaña mentira, firmaron un contrato con la BBC para crear una de la series con los mejores gags de toda la historia de la televisión: The Monty Python's Flying Circus (El circo ambulante de Monty Python).
